Register to join us as we rollout this Inclusive & Empowering Language toolkit designed for you to use with your workforce development teams.
The Say This, Not That Toolkit is intended to support staff in using inclusive, empowering language in their conversations with job seekers, community members, and any external partners. The Toolkit includes a list of principles for Empowering Language as well as a series of short videos, discussion questions, role play scenarios, and a facilitation guide.
We invite all program managers and team leads from our members to join us in reviewing the Toolkit, and identifying practical ways to implement it within your teams and organization.
Please join us at an in-person rollout on Wednesday, Feb. 18 from 12:45pm to 3:30pm. Lunch will be served!
Please note: if you're not able to join us on Feb. 18, we plan to host a virtual rollout event in March; details forthcoming.
